Industrial Solvent-Based Coatings for Metals, Aluminum, Glass, Plastic & More

Many of the reliable paint products you used and loved years ago were solvent-based. Solvent-based coatings are more oil-based than industrial water-based coatings. Alkyd is one of the most recognizable solvent-based coatings available.

With a solvent base, these industrial coatings tend to be more durable and can form a stronger paint film that will dry more quickly. Many industrial customers utilize solvent-based metal coatings to paint machinery, storage units, and shelving. Whatever the project, we're dedicated to working with your team to deliver custom industrial coatings to suit your needs.

Jamestown Coating Technologies in Jamestown, PA produces the following solvent-based coatings:

⟡ Industrial Glass Coatings
Glass is one of the most popular materials used today because it has so many great qualities. From being nonporous so food stays fresh and how strong it is when used for packaging to the fact that it is 100% recyclable and good for the environment, glass is one of the best materials out there. However, one of the main drawbacks of glass is the fact that it can be scuffed and scratched easily. Jamestown Coating Technologies can provide industrial glass coating to help minimize this problem, so you can increase the lifespan of your packaging products. Industrial glass coatings can also help improve energy efficiency by adding an extra layer of insulation.
